The Emotion

Imagine we are walking down a long, white hallway.

The floor is made of white marble. The walls are white. Even the light is white.

It's very quiet here. Almost too quiet.

It's like a blank canvas, waiting for paint.

We are going to visit four different rooms today.

And in each room, the world is going to change completely.

Not because the words change. But because the music changes.

Here is the first door. It's painted a soft, pale Yellow.

It looks warm to the touch.

Turn the handle. Gently. Let's go in.

Shhh... close the door quietly. Don't wake anyone up.

Come over here and sit down.

The cushions are so soft, aren't they?

It feels like sinking into a cloud.

Everything in here is gentle.

The light is low... like a candle flickering in the dark.

You can feel the warmth on your skin.

You can hear something coming from the other side. Is that... music?

Look at the view from this window! The sky is so blue!

The sun is shining! I feel incredible today!

The third door is different. It's painted a deep, dark Blue.

It feels cold. Damp.

There is a heaviness coming from this room.

Open it slowly.

It's always raining outside this window. It never stops.

I lost it. Everything is gone.

I tried so hard, you know? I really tried.

We visited four rooms. Yellow. Orange. Blue. Red.

I used the same words in many of those rooms.

"Yes." "No." "Come in." "Look at this."

But they didn't mean the same thing, did they?

In the Yellow room, "Yes" meant comfort.

In the Red room, "Yes" meant command.

You didn't need a dictionary to understand that.

You felt it in your stomach. You saw the colors with your ears.

That is the soul of the language.
